JORDAN

Clyde Elliot Jordan, Sr. of Camilla, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2004 at the age of 72. He was born in Camilla, Texas to Obie Lee and Bertha Lee Jordan on July 19, 1932. He retired from United Gas Pipeline after 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Curry Joan Jordan; daughters, Sherry Williams and husband, Lewis, Cynthia Foxworth and husband, Ricky; sons, Clyde Jordan and wife, Tammy, Richard Jordan and wife, Lisha; sister, Helen Zimmerman and husband, Herb; grandchildren, Kathryn Bannister and husband, Edward, Abigail Wade and husband, Frankie, Gina Williams, Brian Jordan, Melissa Hopson and husband, Josh, Daniel Jordan, Joe Foxworth, Matthew Jordan Foxworth, Jessica Jordan, Kaylee Jordan, Kenzee Jordan; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Lauren, Ethan, Eddie, Jr., Tyler, Aspen, Cassie, Kendal; and special friend, Ralph Taylor.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 2, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Dr. Don M. Shannon conducted the service with pallbearers, Clyde Jordan, Richard Jordan, Lewis Williams, Richy Foxworth, Ralph Taylor, Brian Jordan Joe Foxworth and Bryce Hubbard guiding him to his final resting place, Old Waverly Cemetery, Old Waverly, Texas.

LONG

John Franklin Long, age 77, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004. He was born in Minden, Louisiana to James and Mary Long on January 26, 1927. He honorably serviced in our U.S. Army as Medical Supply Clerk in Japan from 1945 to 1946. He was an oilfield equipment Inspector from 1952 to 1986 working for National Supply. He solely enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gems(rock) and music, preferably instrumental guitar along with organ and piano.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Claudia Jean Long; daughters, “Lorene” Anita Long Larson, Carrie Ann Long McCulley, sister, Ima Lee Monzingo; granddaughter, Alyssa Darlene Long; step-grandchildren, Kimberly Newberry, Melody Muth; step-great-grandchildren, Mysti Newberry, Jonathan Newberry, Kasey Muth, Kourtney Muth; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members along with countless friends beyond measure.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 7, 2004, 12:00 Noon at the Houston National Chapel, Houston, Texas. Judy Forsman officiated with interment at the Houston National Cemetery.

HEARN

Eva (Bickham) Hearn, 97, went to be with the LORD on Saturday, 10/09/04. She was born in Presidio, Texas in 1907. She grew up and raised her children in Calallen, Texas. She lived also in Clute and Houston, Texas and Grants, New Mexico. She lived the last 25 years of her life in Coldspring, Texas. In her long life, Eva out lived three wonderful husbands, Bill Hearn, Hale Smith, and Cecil Moore.
She was dearly loved by her three sons, William Clyde Hearn and wife, Marti of Coldspring, Roy C. Hearn and wife, Earlene of Clute, and John C. Hearn and wife, Woody of Conroe. She was one of two in her graduating class at Calallen High School in 1924. She was a good christian lady and a Sunday School teacher much of her life. She loved people and was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She’s with the LORD now!!
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Coldspring, TX, Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 15, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Corpus Christi, Texas.

HOSEA

Ethel Sarah Hoot Hosea of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the age of 90. She was born in Stephens Creek, Texas to Leonard N. Hoot and Agnes Harrell Hoot Williamson on February 15, 1914. She is preceded in death by her loving and caring husband, Julius Carl Hosea; father, Leonard V. Hoot; mother, Agnes Virginia Harrell Hoot Williamson; siblings, Thomas Jefferson Williamson, Thomas Wyatt Williamson, Jennie Adla Hoot Goodman, Bonnie May Hoot Canter.
She is survived by her brother, Fred Winfrey Hoot; sister Lela Bell Williamson Thomson and husband, Ben; nephews, Robert Leonard Hoot and wife, Delta, Charles Truitt Thomson; nieces, Amelia Sue Hoot and husband, Gene, Tanya Urban Moore, Sue Zanne Williamson Urbis and husband, Richard, Madge Williamson Vacker and husband, Doug, Carol Sue Thomson Winfrey, Clarrisa Williamson Williford and husband, Brandon; nieces-in-law, Christine Haynes Carter and Mary Raun Williamson; special friend, Aggie Mae Carter Street; numerous grand-nephews and grand-nieces, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Sheryle and Keith Ellison, Reverend Joseph K. Kallandan, and Odyssey Hospice of Conroe.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 19, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Coldspring, Texas with interment at Center Hill Cemetery, Oakhurst, Texas.

HAM

Ola Mae Ham of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the age of 96. She was born in Nachodoches, Texas to George and Dolly Hutchison on October 26, 1907. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennie Davis Ham and her daughter, Ola Mae Campbell.
She is survived by her daughters, Louise Marsh and husband, Eugene of Coldspring, Texas, Yvonne Aden and husband, John of Coldspring, Texas; sisters, Lou Emma Ham, Hazel Simmons, Wanda Theis; granddaughter, April Meise and husband, Gil of Long Island, New York; great-granddaughter, Dylan Christine Meise; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 20, 2004, 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Coldspring, Coldspring, Texas with interment at Peebles Cemetery, Goodrich, Texas.
