Kinder
Herman” Hank” Kinder, age 81, passed away Sunday,
January 2, 2005. He was born in Curvensville,PA to Herman Howard
Kinder,Sr. and Bessie Harvey Kinder on August 4, 1923. He is
preceded in death by his Sons, Emanuel Ray and Daniel Eugene
Kinder and his Grandsons, Charles Wade and David Allen Alexander.
He is survived by his Wife, Margaret Ellen Kinder, daughters
,Elizabeth Ann Malner and husband, Robert, Barbara Coaliron and
husband, Todd, Linda Green; Sons, Hank Kinder and wife, Susie,
Richard Kinder and Robert Kinder ,Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren
and Four great-great-grandchildren, Sisters, Jean and Carol.
Funeral services held Tuesday, January 04, 2005, 2:00 p.m., at
Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. John Belcher
conducted the service with interment at Squier Cemetery.
WHITE
Claud A. White age 79, a long time resident of Cleveland, Texas,
passed away January 2, 2005. He was born in Cisco, Texas to Edgar
M. and Lurena M. White on February 17, 1925. He is preceded in
death by his loving wife, Louise White. Claud White was a good
Christian man always there when needed and always willing to
give a helping hand. He was a member of the Tarkington Prairie
Lodge #498; Cleveland Chapter #465 O.E.S
He is survived by his sisters, Faye Tiemann and husband, Charles
of Hobbs, New Mexico, Sarah White and husband, Jimmy of Victoria,
Texas; brothers, Billy Joe White and wife, Peggy, of Blene, New
Mexico
Carl White and wife, Dorothy of Beeville, Texas, Don Jackson
of Mountain Home, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and countless
friends beyond measure.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 5, 2005, 10:00
a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Bro.
Herb Zimmerman conducted the service. Pallbearers, Billy Perry,
Billy Barrick, Burley Jones, Jeffery Wright, Tom Culpepper, George
Baker; Honorary Pallbearers, Jeff Foxworth, Bernie Kukkuck, Donald
Shackelford, Wayne Hatcher and all Masons of the Masonic Lodge
escorted he to his final resting place, Ryan Cemetery.
LILLEY
Luther Lilley, 57, of Shepherd/New Caney passed away Tuesday,
January 4, 2005 at his home in New Caney. He was born March 16,
1947 in Shepherd, Texas to Arnett and Jean Lilley. Mr. Lilley
was retired from Blue Bell Creameries. He was preceded in death
by his father, Arnett Lilley; mother, Jean Bass and three half
brothers. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lilley; daughter,
Susan Jackson; sons: Bryan Keith Lilley and Jeffrey Luther Lilley;
sisters: Barbara Ann Thompson, Kathryn Arnetta Thompson and Gloria
Jean Pate; brother, John Wilburn Lilley; four grandsons; aunt,
Shirley Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews
and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Thursday,
January 6, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil
Funeral Home, 303 E. Crockett, Cleveland, TX. Funeral services
will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2005 in the funeral home
chapel. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery, Shepherd,
Texas.
STEPHENS
Kenneth William Stephens age 25, of Cleveland, Texas passed
away January 4, 2005. He was born in Houston, Texas to Leonard
and Sandra Stephens on December 27, 1979.
His is survived by his father, Leonard Stephens and wife, Debbie;
mother, Sandra Stephens; one sister, Dana Hmman and other caring
relatives and countless friends.
Rev. Carl Williamson conducted the graveside services held Saturday,
January 8, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Squire Cemetery.
McIntyre
Ernest Edward McIntyre of New Caney, Texas, passed away Monday,
January 17, 2005 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel McIntyre; children, Gerald
Duncan, Keith Duncan, Linda Knapper, David Duncan and Patricia
Duncan Shackelford; his sister, Irimay Cartwright; sister-in-law,
Melba McIntyre; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren;
numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews and
a host of loving and caring friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 11:00
a.m., Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Rev.
Harold Johnson conducted the service with interment at Ryan Cemetery.
Key
Velma Sue Key, age 72, resident of Cleveland,
Texas, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2005. She was born
in Houston, Texas to Calvin Eugene and Lura Crawford on March
15, 1932.
She is survived by sons, Larry Monroe Key and wife, Jane of New
Waverly, Texas, Ronnie Monroe Key and wife, Pam of Tarkington
Prairie, Texas, Terry Lynn Key and wife, Hazel of Tarkington
Prairie, Texas; daughters, Linda Sue Key of Tarkington Prairie,
Texas, Sandra Jean Stoneberger of Tarkington Prairie, Texas,
Cynthia Gale Scholze and husband, Rick of Tarkington Prairie,
Texas, Tammy Key Reh of Spring, Texas; numerous grandchildren
and great-grandchildren and countless loving and caring friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Key and her
granddaughter, Rhonda Denise Groves.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 21, 2005, 10:00 a.m.,
Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Jerry
Bontrager conducted the service with interment at County Line
Cemetery, Willis, Texas.
Bush
Mary Helen Bush, a resident of Splendora, Texas,
passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the 66. She was born
in Opelousas, Louisiana on December 16, 1938 to Thaddeus and
Mae Kidder of whom preceded her in death along with her son,
Curtis Richard; brother, Curtis Kidder; and her sister, Elsie
Richard.
She is survived by her husband, Jess L. Bush of Splendora, Texas;
daughters, Connie Ann Shaw and husband, Tom L. of Dallas, Texas,
Mary Raynette Rude and husband, Garry Rude of Kingwood, Texas;
sons, Mike Richard and wife, Teresa of Porter, Texas, Thaddeus
Joseph Barnett of Splendora, Texas, grandchildren, Jason Hooper,
Lee Thomas Shaw and wife, Cheryl, Bridgette Lindley and husband,
John,
Chancy Kellar and wife, Robin, Michael Harrington and wife, Lindsey,
Amanda Parks, Jonathan Parks, Nicholas Parks, Joshua Barnett,
Ryan Barnett, Annette Barnett, great-grandchildren, Dahlia Marie
Shaw; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other cherished
family and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 21, 2005, 10:00 a.m.
at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, Porter, Texas. Rev. Mike
Richard conducted the service with interment at Pace-Stancil
Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
Rucker
Martin Rucker, 91, passed away Monday, January 24, 2005. He
was born in Runge, Texas to M.B. and Lelia Rucker on May 31,
1913.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1/27/05, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist
Church, Splendora, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.

BLANKS
Lillie Nora Blanks of Point Blank, Texas, passed away Friday,
January 25, 2005 at the age of 89. She was born in Houston, Texas
to Frederick Sullivan and Nora Fay Smith on December 8, 1915.
She is preceded in death by son Raymond Luther Blanks. Lillie
is survived by her husband, Thomas Raymond Blanks; daughter,
Nora Ann Orsak and husband, Johnny of Spring, TX; sister, Nona
Frances Rock of Provo, Utah; grandchildren, Johnny Orsak II,
Kevin Wayne Orsak and wife, Jenny of Spring, TX, Kelly Blanks,
Carrie Sue Smith of Illinois; great-grandchildren, Joseph Wayne
Orsak, Nicholas Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of
friends. Funeral services were held Friday, January 28, 2005,
2:00 p.m. at Paul Horton United Methodist Church, Stephens Creek,
TX. Rev. Miriann Wallace officiated with interment at Mt. Zion
Cemetery, Stephens Creek, Texas.
WASHBURN
Jofrances Washburn of Cleveland, Texas passed away peacefully
in her home Friday, January 28, 2005 after a long battle with
a terminal illness. She was born in Cleveland, Texas to Joe E.
and Irene Stephens, Jr. on January 5, 1936 both of whom preceded
her in death along with her son, Carlos Wayne Washburn. She was
very well known throughout the community and will surely be missed
by all. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Carlos
E. Washburn; daughters, Judy Stewart and husband, Wayne, Patsy
Freeman and husband, Mike; her son, Dennis Earl Washburn and
wife, Lori; brother, Elmer Dwight Stephens and wife, Connie;
grandchildren, Brandon Alsobrooks, Colby Wells, Ashley Twitty,
Jeff Washburn, Stephanie F. Washburn, Michelle Carey and husband,
Niegel; great-grandchildren, Destiny Lee, Stormy Alsobrooks;
nephew, Kenneth Washburn; nieces, Susie Jo Stephens, Tiffany
Pyeatt; numerous other loving and caring family members and countless
friends. Her funeral service was held Tuesday, February 1, 2005,
10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
Sister Bailey conducted the service with interment at Squier
Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
