FOWLER
Donald Ray Fowler, born, raised and resided in Romayor, Texas
passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 at the age 69. He was born
December 24, 1935 to James Carson and Celestia Fowler both
of whom preceded him in death along with his brother, Glendon
Fowler. He graduated in 1955 from Hardin High School, Hardin,
Texas where he was a star basketball player. He entered the
U.S. Army November 30, 1958 in Houston, Texas, took basic
training at Ft. Chaffe, Arkansas. He was stationed at Ft.
Eustis, Virginia as Training Room Clerk for 123 T Co. He obtained
the rank of SP4 and was discharged December 1, 1960. He went
on to work for Southern Pacific Railroad, April 20, 1955 as
Roadway Machine Operator and retired September 1, 1996. He
married Miss Bondell Jaster on May 18, 1957 in Chilton, Texas.
He belonged to Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees
and served 10 years as Secretary-Treasurer of Lodge 1407.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; daughter,
Dianna Fowler of Conroe, Texas; brothers, James E. Fowler
and wife, Margaret of Romayor, Texas; granddaughter, Megan
Burr and husband Cliff of Conroe, Texas; grandson, Brent Vaughn
of Conroe, Texas and numerous other loving and caring family
members and friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2005,
10:00 a.m. at Holly Grove Cemetery, Livingston, Texas.
BARR
Linda Marilyn Barr, age 60 yrs., born, October 20, 1944 to
Harmon and Hattie Larimore at Howe, Oklahoma passed away June
14, 2005 in Cleveland, Texas. Services were held 10:00 a.m.,
Friday, June 17, 2005 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel,
Cleveland, Texas with interment at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland,
Texas. She is survived by Sons, Perry Burkeen and wife, Misty,
Noel Burkeen; Grandchildren, Jackie Burkeen, Ty Burkeen, Emily
Burkeen, Paige Burkeen, Macie Burkeen, Torie Burkeen and “Baby
Camie”, Rain Burkeen, Karina Burkeen; Brother and Sisters,
Joe Larimore, Wilma Muting and Lela Shidell. She is Preceded
in death by her Husband, David Barr; parents, Harmon and Hattie
Larimore; brother, Billy Larimore.
YEAGER
Elva E. Yeager, age 86 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday,
June 16, 2005. She was born in San Jacinto County, Texas to
George and Pearlie McMillan on August 7, 1918.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Lively and Claude
Green, Agnes Norman and husband, Jake; son, James U. Yeager
and wife, Wanda; sisters, Willie Mae Rollo, Eddie Mae Gay;
twenty-four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, four
great-great-grandchildren and many other loving and caring
family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her
son. Donnie Yeager; sister, Ellen Yeager, brother, Harvey
P. McMillan.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 20, 2005, 11:00 a.m.
at Christian Life Center, Cleveland, Texas. Bishop Nelson
Neyland conducted the service with interment at Cleveland
Memorial Cemetery.
ROBERTS
David James Roberts, age 24, of Coldspring, Texas, passed
away Thursday, June 16, 2005. He was born in Conroe, Texas
to William and Betty Lou Roberts on October 24, 1980.
He is survived by his mother; sister, Laurey N. Peak; brothers,
Jim, Michael and Brian Tanner. His foster family; parents,
Keith Mixon and Debbie Ticer; brothers, Shaun, Michael, Steven
and Stuart Mixon; sister, Madison Mixon; grandmother, Polly
Mixon; aunt, Sally Blount and many other loving and caring
family members and countless friends beyond measure.
Dr. Don M. Shannon conducted the funeral services held Sunday,
June 19, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Coldspring First Baptist Church,
Coldspring, Texas. Pallbearers, Joshua Johnson, Michael Brown,
Kent Boring, Gabriel Chapel, Pressley McFadden and Brian Chittenden
escorted him to his final resting place at Laurel Hill Cemetery,
Coldpsring, Texas.
CLARK
Mary Elizabeth Clark, age 49, of Dayton, Texas, passed away
Saturday, June 18, 2005. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan
on March 9, 1956 to Delmar and Oma Dowdy Wauer.
She is survivied by her husband, Lotis Trenton Clark, daughters,
Tabitha M. Sees, Tammy S. Spencer; Son, Roy A. Schmidt; sister,
Karen H. Wauer; brothers, Delmar E. Wauer, Jr., William A.
Wauer, Caru A. Wauer; six grandchildren, four nephews, two
nieces and numerous other loving and caring family members
and friends.
Funeral services are being held Tuesday, June 21, 2005, 10:00
a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Chapel, Dayton Texas. Bro. Carl
Williamson will conduct the service with interment at Ryan
Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will be held at the
Dayton Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Monday, June 20, 2005, 6:00
to 9:00 p.m.
HARRISON
W.T. “Tommy” Harrison, age 74, passed away Tuesday,
June 21, 2005. He was born in Cleveland, Texas to Herman and
Beaulah Harrison on October 19, 1930 both of whom preceded
him in death along with his sisters, Betty Cudd and Mary Jo
Harrison. He resided in Cleveland for 35 years and was well
known and liked throughout the community.
He is survived by his wife, Sunchi Harrison; children, William
T. Harrison, Jr. and wife, Yolanda, Kathy O’Quinn and
husband, Frank, Carlton Harrison, Darla Jo McKee and husband,
Stephen, DeeDee Lum and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Jocelyn
Chris and husband, Brian, Megan Joanna Wren and husband, Kendall,
Jessica Jo Harrison, William Harrison, III, Katilyn O’Quinn,
Erin O’Quinn, Lauren O’Quinn, Bryanetta Jones,
Helaina Harrison, Malessa Harrison, Krystina Harrison, Christopher

WILKE
Ricky Jay Wilke, age 35 of Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday,
June 22, 2005. He was born at Andrews Airforce Base, Maryland
to Huey and Patricia Wilke on December 7, 1969.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Wilke; mother, Pat
Wilke, nephew, Walter Winter, nieces, Samantha and Miriam
Kasarda; sisters, Debbie Skiles and husband, Eddie, Leenette
Wilke; aunt, Rosemary Wilke.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 26, 2005, 2:00 p.m.
at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Carl Williamson
conducted the service with interment at Cleveland Memorial
Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
RANDALL
Joel Lynn “Pete” Randall of Shepherd, Texas,
passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the age of 60. He
was born in Huntsville, Texas to Buster and Fannie Randall
on May 22, 1945 both of whom have preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Regina Lynn Robicheaux Mullin;
son, Derick Lee Robicheaux; sister, JoAnn Randall Adams Shigley;
grandchildren, Victoria “Tori” Robicheaux, Cortney
Robicheaux, Bethany Glynn Mullin; great-uncle, Herman Pegoda
and numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family
members and friends.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 26, 2005, 10:00
a.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery, Huntsville, Texas.
SUGGS
Sharon Charlotte Suggs, age 63, of Dayton, Texas, passed
away Thursday, June 23, 2005. She was born in Corpus Christi,
Texas to William Robert and Myrl Rhodes on October 22, 1941.
She is survived husband, Olen Wayne Suggs; son, Darrell Suggs
and wife, Gail; daughters, DeeAnn McMillan, Shelly Knight,
Karen Suggs; grandchildren, Ronnie Hamilton, Nathan Hamilton,
Jennifer Herndon, Robert Benoit, Kelsey Knight, Courtney Suggs;
great-grandchildren, Bryce Herndon, Emily Dixon, Blayne Dixon;
step-great-grandchild, Zach Dixon and many other family members
and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 27, 2005, 9:30 a.m.
at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ray Jones conducted
the service with interment at Odem Evergreen Cemetery.
COOK
Bennie Williams Cook, age 86, of Splendora, Texas, passed
away, Thursday, June 23, 2005. He was born in Sugarland, Texas
to Edward and Bertha Cook on October 11, 1918. He lived in
Jasper, Texas for over 40 years and was well known throughout
the community and retired from Texas Electrical Co-op Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Ward and husband, Howard;
son, Eddie Cook; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005, 10:00
a.m., Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
Rev. Ronnie Culbert will conducted the service with interment
at Security Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
ADAMS
Barbara Jean Adams, age 59, born October 8, 1945 to Guy Marion
and Irene Helene Thomas, passed away on Saturday, June 25,
2005. She was a resident of Porter, Texas for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Les Adams; parents; step-mother,
Dorthy Thomas; daughters, Penny Wiederhold and Jackie Prickett;
daughter-in-law, Carolyn Prickett; son, Marion Roger Prickett;
son-in-law, Alan Wiederhold; sister, Charmaine Gray, Susan
Roof; brothers, Guy Thomas, Jr., Lafe Thomas, Jeff Nelson,
David Carrier; grandchildren, Richard Prickett, Angela Griffin,
Pamela Minchew, Tamatha Prickett, Brandy Wiederhold, Samatha
Prickett, Jimmy Prickett; great-grandchild, Bradly Prickett;
mother-in-law, Alverta Mittelstaedt and numerous nieces, nephews,
and other loving and caring family members and friends.

on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland,
Texas.
GODEJOHN
Pearlie M. Godejohn, 80, of Willis, passed away Sunday, June
26, 2005 in Conroe, Texas. She was born May 31, 1925 in Horry
County, South Carolina to Victoria and Malcolm Allen. Mrs.
Godejohn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Tennessee
Colony and Willis Baptist Church. She was preceded in death
by husbands, George Hosea and Pat Godejohn; and brothers,
Billy Bessant and Gerald Allen. She is survived by daughter,
Regina Green and husband, Robert; son, Larry Hosea; sisters:
Irma Spivey, Margie Allen, Mary Ellen Gray and husband, Ronnie;
brothers: Joe Allen and wife, Trudy, Doug Allen, Wade Allen
and wife, Erica; sister-in-law, Janice Allen; granddaughters,
Vicki Thornton and husband, Richie, and Brandee Burrows; great
grandson, Scotty Ely; and numerous nieces, nephews, great
nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends
at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland on Tuesday, June
28, 2005 from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. Funeral services will
be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2005 in the funeral home
chapel. Interment will follow in Pace Stancil Memorial Rest
Gardens.
