CASTLEDINE
Jimmy Harrison “Tuffy” Castledine, Jr., of Coldspring,
Texas, passed away January 2, 2006 at the age of 62. He was
born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jimmy Harrison and Lois Jean
Castledine, Sr. on August 1, 1944.
He is survived by his daughter, Jana Castledine of Houston,
Texas; sons, Jeff Castledine and Teri of Portland, Oregon,
Todd Castledine of Nacogdoches, Texas; sister, Cathy Holland
of Wichita Falls, Texas; brother, Rus Castledine of Wichita
Falls, Texas; grandchild, Kendall Castledine; special friend,
Linda Jenkins and many other loving and caring family members
and countless friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2006, 2:00
p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Coldspring, Texas
with James Allen of the Fellowship in the Woodlands officiating.
YOAKUM
Rex D. “Bo” Yoakum, of Splendora, Texas, passed
away Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the age of 44. He was born
in Hearne, Texas on December 19, 1961.
He is survived by his parents, Guy and Jean Rogers; son,
David Wayne Yoakum; brothers, Larry Wayne Yoakum, Jr. and
wife, Lisa, Jamaes Yoakum and wife, Shari, Phillip Damon Rogers
and Caren; nephews, James David Yoakum, Jason Lee Yoakum,
Andrew Rogers, Brandon Yoakum, Eric Morris, Jake Rogers, along
with many other loving family members and caring friends beyond
measure.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 11, 2006, 11:00
a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
Terry Swonke and Dan Spadley conducted the service with interment
at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
Schwartz
Bobby G. “Grandpa” Schwartz, 75,
of Dayton, died Sunday, January 8, 2005, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Tuesday, January 10,
2005, at the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church in Kenefick
and graveside services to be held at 2 Pm, Wednesday, January
11, 2005, at the Old Center Cemetery in Center. Visitation
will be held from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Monday, at the funeral home.
Visitation will also be held from 9 Am to noon, Wednesday,
at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center. Services are under
the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Bobby was born March 28, 1930, in Harrisburg, IL, to parents;
Richard and Maxine Schwartz Oller, a former resident of Center,
and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 12 years.
He was a retired electrician foreman for Armco Steel of Greens
Bayou, member and Deacon of the Kenefick Southern Baptist
Church, and enjoyed working in his yard and spending time
with his grandchildren.
Mr. Schwartz was preceded in death by his father: Richard
Oller. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Lila M. Jimmerson
Schwartz of Dayton, daughter: Martha E. Burch and husband
Charles of Dayton, sons: Bobby D. Schwartz and wife Betty
of Pearland, Ernie D. Schwartz and wife Cathy of Texas City,
Duane Hooper and wife Reené of Houston, and Gerald
G. Hooper and wife Linda of Deer Park, mother: Maxine Schwartz
Oller of Peoria, IL, brother: Dean Hohimer of Pekin, IL, sisters:
Barbara Clarkston of Pekin, IL, Kay Cataldo of Newport, FL,
Wanda Gray of Brandon, IL, and Becky Moore of Pekin, IL, and
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
other relatives, and friends.
Shipman
Mike L. Shipman, 36, of Dayton, died Monday,
January 9, 2006, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be held 2 Pm, Thursday, January 12,
2006, at the First Baptist Church of Dayton with burial following
at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held
from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services
are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Mike was born March 2, 1969, in Baytown, to parents; Leroy
and Edna McKinney Shipman, a former resident of Nixon, and
has resided in the Dayton area for the past three years. He
was a graduate of the Liberty High School class of 1988, wireless
internet technician for Core Communications, veteran of the
US Navy, former member of the Nixon VFD ,and enjoyed fishing,
hunting, electronics, and photography.
Mr. Shipman was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents:
George and Reba Shipman, maternal grandparents: Milton and
Myrtle McKinney, aunt: Mattie Lou Croft, and uncles: James
McKinney, Marlin McKinney, and John McKinney. He is survived
by his parents: Leroy and Edna Shipman of Dayton, sister:
Danna M. Farmer and husband Jack of Liberty, special friend:
Gayle Polansky of Dayton, nephews: Jason Shipman and Jacub
Farmer, nieces: Jaimie McMillan, Kaela Maye Bollom, Brittany
Farmer, and Jaclyn Farmer, great-niece: Addison McMillen,
and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of usual floral remembrances, the family requests
that donations be made to the Leukemia Foundation or the First
Baptist Church of Dayton.

Malba Ann Milwee, 43 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday,
January 9, 2006. She was born in Conroe, Texas to Earl Joseph
Ayers and Mary Jo Ayers, Sr. on August 29, 1962.
She is survived by her parents, Earl and Mary Jo Ayers; daughters,
Ashley and fiancé, Jason, Rachel, Jessica, Tina and
husband, Scott; son, Jessie sisters, Diedra and husband, Murphy,
Pam; grandchildren, Sebastian, Ethan, and Felicia; nephews,
Danny, Buck, and Ty; nieces, Christy and husband, Ryan and
Ava. She is also preceded in death by her, brother, Joe.

Edgar Dywane “Killer” Isbell, of Shepherd, Texas,
passed away Monday, January 9, 2006 at the age of 49. He was
born in Houston, Texas on May 11, 1956.
He is survived by his mother, Cleo McCool; brothers, James
Isbell and wife, Mary, Mike Isbell and wife, Jennifer, Henry
Isbell and wife, Renee; sisters, Patricia Woodard and husband,
Rick, Cynthia Lamb and husband, Lonnie, Mitzy Smith and husband,
Jimmy; best friend, Will Smith and wife, Elizabeth and family;
many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and caring
friends. He is preceded in death by his father Edgar Morris
Isbell.

HARVEY
Charles W. “Chuck” Harvey, age 78, of Coldspring,
Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Livingston
Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Orange, Texas to Charles
Walter and Ina Bell Harvey, Sr. on November 7, 1927.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Barbara Harvey;
children, Valliery Brumley and husband, Ron, Christi Clisham
and husband, Gerard, Andrea Kalan and husband, Petro Margos,
David Harvey and wife, Julie, John Kalan and husband, Toni;
sisters, Ruth Elliott, Dorothy Guice, Johnnie Davis; grandchildren,
Ryan Brumley, Russell Brumley, Justin Clisham, Ashley Harvey,
Chad Harvey, Hannah Kalan, Jack Kalan, Jamie Kalan, and Andrew
Margos and any nieces and nephews along with other loving
family members and caring friends beyond measure.

January 13, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Coldspring United Methodist
Church, Coldspring, Texas.

Myrville T. Milam, 83, of Splendora, Texas, passed away Tuesday,
January 10, 2006. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to
Benton Fletcher and Opal Adella Milam on July 6, 1922.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathie Howard and husband,
Ronnie, Joan Lambert and husband, Donnie, Tina Imholt, Cynthia
Small and husband, Theodore; son, Don Milam and wif
e, Rita; grandchildren, Dawn Howard, Christopher Howard,
Mike Ramsey, Jennifer Imholt, Kara Ramsey, Dawn Parker, Jared
Milam, Ted Small, and Rachell Small; great-grandchildren,
Madyson Howard, Krysta Howard, Kayla Hays, Mackenzie Parker
and many caring friends. He is preceded in death by his wife,
Mary F. Milam; parents, Benton Fletcher Milam and Opal Adela
Smith Milam.

Diana Maria Goodrum of Conroe, Texas, passed away Wednesday,
January 12, 2006 at the age of 48. She was born in Baytown,
Texas to Jose and Margie Gutierrez on March 23, 1957.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Lee Goodrum;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jose L. Gutierrez; sons, David Goodrum
and wife, Becky, Derrick Goodrum and wife, Shannon; daughter,
Stacey Wilson and husband, Chris; adopted son, Jay and wife,
Leslie; brother, Joe Gutierrez; sister, Delma; grandchildren,

Cleora Darlene Strange Casey, of Cleveland,
Texas, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the age of
82. She was born in Goose Creek, Texas to George Silas and
Edna Lee Strange on January 8, 1924 of whom preceded her in
death along with her husbands, Venton Parker and Grady Casey;
brother, George Strange, Jr.; sister, Hazel Kelley.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lee Greening and
husband, Homer, Willene Davis and husband, Paul “Bimbo”;
grandchildren, Scotty Jurecka, Melissa Howe, Sharla Bittick
and fiancée Ricky Cranney, Paul “Scooter”

Guendaleen Bernice Felts, 73 of Coldspring, Texas, passed
away Saturday, January 14, 2006. She was born in Elk City,
Oklahoma to Bell and Alice Lucille Folks on June 5, 1932.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Murphy and husband,
Bob, Susan Reed and husband, Phillip; son, David Felts and
wife, Marie; brother, Glen Felts; sisters, Carlene Coleman
and husband, Jack, Darlene Stewart; ten grandchildren and
eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, January 15, 2006, 3:30
p.m. aqt Rose Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.

Lila Mae Jimmerson Schwartz, 80, of Dayton,
died Tuesday, January 17, 2005, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Thursday, January 19,

and graveside services to be held at 2 Pm, Friday, January
20, 2005, at the Old Center Cemetery in Center. Visitation

Lila Mae was born January 31, 1925, in Joaquin, to parents;
Dewey and Ellen Ward Jimmerson and has resided in the Dayton
area for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker, member of
the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church, and enjoyed embroidery,
quilting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Schwartz was preceded in death by her parents, husband:
Bobby G. “Grandpa” Schwartz, son: Timothy Hooper,
father-in-law: Richard Oller, sister: Nina Lee Lindsey, and
brother: Dewey I. Jimmerson. She is survived by daughter:

McMillen
Juanita Lane McMillen, 80, of Dayton, died Tuesday,
January 17, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Friday, January 20,
2006, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with burial following
at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held
from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Thursday at the funeral home. Services

Juanita was born September 9, 1925 in DeWitt, to parents;
Carl Lane and Nora New, a former resident of Baytown, and
has resided in the Dayton area for the past 35 years. She
was a homemaker, member of the First Assembly of God Church
in Dayton, and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, fishing, camping,
and caring for her puppies and goldfish.
Mrs. McMillen was preceded in death by her father: Carl Lane,
mother: Nora New Echols, son: Bobby Johnson, and her brothers
and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 34 years: Floyd
McMillen of Dayton, sons: Johnny Headrick and wife Patricia
of Dayton and David Johnson and wife Karen of Goodman, MO,
daughter: Glenda Johnson McDonald and husband Jerry of Dayton,
her first four grandchildren: James Dale Headrick, John Carl
Headrick, Janell Headrick Shipman, and Joy Headrick Scruggs,
her eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous
nieces, nephews, other elatives, and friends.
Spence
Clarence James Spence, 74, of Cleveland died
Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in Cleveland, Texas. He was born
March 13, 1931 in Diboll, Texas to parents: James Clarence
Spence and Effie Ashworth Spence. He had lived most of his
life in Cleveland where he graduated from High School. He
served in the United States Navy in Korea. Mr. Spence worked
for many years in the construction business and also worked
for TDCT Institution Division. He also served as a minister.
He loved to work in his yard and enjoyed his family.
Services for Mr. Spence will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January
21, 2006 at the Daisetta Assembly of God Church with the Rev.
Lamar Shane officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery
in Batson, Texas under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral
Home, Dayton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived
by Wife: Audrey Spence of Cleveland; Sons: Lamar Shane and
wife Jill of Daisetta and James Spence and wife Victoria of
Tennessee; Sister: Sybile McLeain of Florida; Three grandchildren:
Shelley Shane, Jared Spence and Matthew Spence.
Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2006 from 5:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m. at the Daisetta Assembly of God Church in Daisetta.

George Cloud, 78, of Coldspring, Texas and a
retired Texas International/Continental pilot, passed away
on Friday, January 20, 2006. Graveside services are Tuesday,
January 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery,
6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, Texas.
Anderson
Leo H. Anderson, 75, of Kosse, died Friday,
January 20, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Monday, January 23,
2006, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial
following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation
will be held from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Sunday, at the funeral home.

Leo was born November 11, 1930, in Dayton, to parents; Morris
“Pat” Anderson and Minnie “Myrtle”
Moseley, a former resident of Dayton, and has resided in the
Kosse area for the past 14 years. He was a retired brick mason
and 50 year gold card member of the Brick Mason’s Local
#7 of Houston, veteran of the US Army with service during
the Korean War, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, ranching, camping,
gardening, and will be remembered as a jack of all trades.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father: Pat Anderson,
mother: Myrtle Moseley Bergeron, stepfathers: Lou Cole and
Irby Bergeron, and brother: Roland Anderson. He is survived
by his wife: Vicky McGuire Anderson of Kosse, sons: Dale Anderson
and wife Donna of Dayton, Mike Anderson and wife Lara of Sergeant,
and Billy Anderson of Kosse, daughters: Colleen LeMoine and
husband Phillip of Humble and Gale Gothard of Crosby, sisters:
Ola Mae Neal of Gonzales, LA and Patsy Harmon of Houston,
11 grandchildren: Justin Brown, Jason Brown and wife Kate,
Logan, Cody, Lacey, and Hadden Anderson, Chris Beck, Dru Tipps,
Alyssa Sewell, and Shay and Kris LeMoine, one great-granddaughter
on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives,
and friends.
SAVELL
A memorial service was held for Steven Christover Savell,
40, of Shepherd, TX at 10 am, Monday, January 23, 2006 at
Pace-Stencil Funeral Home in Coldspring, TX. Steve was born
to Walker Wayne Savell, Sr. and Marie Elaine Savell in Del
Rio, TX, October 12, 1965 and passed away in his sleep January
21, 2006.
Steve was survived by his wife, Diana Estell Savell of Smithville,
TX; his 12 year old son, Erik Christover Savell of Magnolia,
TX; his father Walker Wayne Savell, Sr. and step-mother, Barbara
Ann Savell of Shepherd, TX; his mother, Marie McDowell and
step father, John McDowell of Del Rio, TX; his brothers, Walker
Wayne Savell, Jr. and wife, Lonnie of Saline, LA; Eric Alvin
Savell and wife, Katherine of Magnolia, TX; Joshua McDowell
and wife, Vickie of Del Rio, TX; Kevin McDowell and wife,
Anna of Jacksonville, FL; his sister, Jaqueline Brogdon of
Houston, TX; his paternal grandfather, Walker Weeks Savell
of Scotts Ferry, FL; his maternal grandparents, Alvin and
Annabelle Osgood of Del Rio, TX; 3 nephews; 3 nieces; and
many, many friends. Steve was preceded in death by his grandmother,
Velma Lou Savell. Steve truly had the gift of touching many
lives.
Aguilera
Kitana Elizabeth Aguilera, infant daughter of
Jessie E. Porter of Dayton and Nolberto Aguilera of Anahuac,
died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Wednesday, January
25, 2006, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton
with burial following at Fairview Cemetery in Winnie. Visitation
will be held from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home
in Dayton.
Kitana was born November 11, 2005 in Baytown and has resided
in the Dayton. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather:
Paul Z. Porter and paternal great-grandparents: Andrew and
Ines Hernandez. She is survived by her mother Jessie E. Porter
of Dayton, father: Nolberto Aguilera of Anahuac, maternal
grandmother: Laura Kaye Porter of Dayton, maternal grandfather:

Maria Aguilera of Anahuac, maternal great-grandmother: Margie
M. Porter of Hamshire, maternal great-grandparents: Norman

Gwynda Lou Thomas, of Shepherd, Texas passed away Monday,
January 23, 2006 at the age of 42. She was born in Houston,
Texas to Woodley and Janice Trahan on August 26, 1963.
She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Thomas; parents;
daughters, Cassie Thomas Mayo and husband, Charles; son, Randy
Lee Fuller and wife, Kayla; sisters, Betty Trahan Riggins,
Candy Rutledge; brothers, Kenneth J. and Shannon L. Trahan,
Charles Thomas, Bobby Byers; grandchildren, Steven Fuller,
Trinton Fuller, Brooklynn Thomas, Kaleb Mayo; nephews, Michael

Elma Leon Cochran, age 81, of Coldspring, Texas, passed away
Wednesday, January 25, 2006. He was born in Coldspring, Texas
to Tom and Mamie Cochran on April, 17, 1924.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Cochran of Trinity, Tx.,
and daughter, Glenda Cochran of Henderson, Tx.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2006, 5p.m.-9p.m.
in Coldspring at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, 14250 Hwy. 150
