Martin
William Carlos “W.C.” Martin,
65, of Dayton, died Wednesday, November 29, 2007, at his
residence.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m.,
Saturday, December 1, 2007, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral
Home Chapel with burial following at a later date in Selma,
AL. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral
Home in Dayton.
W.C. was born October 21, 1942 in Lamison,
AL, to parents; Carl R. Martin and Irene Dyson, and has
resided in the Dayton area for the past 25 years. He was
a former millwright, and a retired carpenter, veteran of
the US Army, and enjoyed woodworking and collecting knives.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father:
Carl R. Martin, mother: Irene Dyson Mosley, and brother:
Richard G. Martin. He is survived by his daughter: Michelle
Folse and husband Dwayne of Des Allemands, LA, son: Brian
Martin, five grandchildren: Dakota, Cierra, and Kanyon Folse,
and Austin and Tyler Martin, and numerous other relatives,
and friends.
Day
Travis L. Day, age 77, of Cleveland, Texas,
passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Cleveland Regional
Medical Center. He was born in Evadale, Texas on September
25, 1930 to Homer and Alma Day who preceded him in death
along with his precious loving wife, Virginia Day who he
adored and his son, Travis Dwain Day. Survivors include
his daughters, Doris Jones and husband, Burley, Debbie Cunningham
and husband, Monte; grandchildren, Natashia Jones, Brooke
Day, Brandi Robertson, Crystal Porter, Tracy Day; great-grandchildren,
Courtney, Sarah, Shayne, Chance, Dustin, Jayde, Seth, Riley,
Cooper, Jacob, Lillian, Grace, William; brothers and sisters,
Willie E. “Bud” Day, Homer Day, Jr., Faye Lawrence,
Tommy Kelly, and Pearl Smith and many other loving family
members and cherished friends.

Miloszewski
Joan Miloszewski, age 43, Splendora, Texas,
passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007. She fought a long
battle with Colon Cancer and died at the home of her brother,
Dale. Joan was born September 12, 1964 in Oxford, Ohio to
Wanda Adams Wildey of New Caney, Texas and Luther B. Hill
of Liberty, Indiana, both preceded her in death. She was
married to Daniel W. Miloszewski and they had resided in
St. Augustine for many years, her son, Robert (Moppy) Miloszewski
comforted her during her battle. She is preceded in death
by her son, Daniel W. Miloszewski, and her husband. Arrangements
made through Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
Jones
James Ozell Jones, age 77, of Cleveland/Shepherd
area, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007. He was born
August 2, 1930 in Groveton, Texas to George Washington and
Mrya Bush Jones who precede him in death along with his
wife, Mildred Mauline Jones. Survivors include his daughters,
Patricia Ann Simpson and husband, Morris, III; grandchildren,
Karen Summers, Angela McGowen, Tricia Simpson, Morris Glenn
Simpson, IV, great-grandchildren, Erikka Summers, Trey Summers,
Jordan McGowen, Haley McGowen, Dakotah Simpson; with numerous
nieces, nephews and other loving family members and caring
friends.

Peggy Sue Trainer, age 45, of Cleveland, Texas,
passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007. She was born in
Cleveland, Texas on October 10, 1962.
She is preceded in death by her twin daughters,
Samantha and Savanah; brothers, Donald Winters and Glenn
Winters; and her mother, Tommie Winters.
She leaves behind her father, Bill Winters;
sons, B.J. Williamson, Tristan Williamson; sister, Tana
Puckett and husband, Ronnie, brother, Sandy Winters; sister-in-law,
Donna Winters; niece, Lisa Dennard; nephew, Jaybo Turner;
and many other loving family members and caring friends.

John Van Childress, Sr. 79, of Cleveland,
Texas, passed away November 16, 2007. He was born in Conroe,
Texas to John V. Childress and Ida S. Dean on June 20, 1928.
He is preceded in death by his son, John Van Childress,
III; grandsons, John Van Childress, IV and Jon Wayne Childress.
He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Marie
Childress; son, Gary Childress and wife, Gigi, Kenneth Childress
and wife, Lisa; daughter, Guin Ainsworth; sister, Idell

Jimmerson
Charles Michael Jimmerson, we all knew as
Mike, passed away at his home Saturday, November 17, 2007.
He was born to Charles and Robbie Jimmerson in Baytown,
Texas.
Mike had his own business, “Jimmerson
Logging and Development” and was well know throughout
the community and surrounding areas. He was a Cleveland
High School graduate of 1972. He was a fun loving person,
always joking around and loved to laugh. Mike was devoted
to his family and through the years enjoyed many travels
with them. He was a giving person from the heart and his
family and friends will sincerely miss him.
He was 53 years old at the time of his death
leaving behind his loving and faithful friend, his wife,
Margie Jimmerson; his parents, Charles and Robbie Jimmerson;
sons, Carey Allen Jimmerson and wife, Melissa, Charles Monty
Jimmerson and Promise Buchanan; sisters, Robbie Dorlene

Annie Odessa Nixon, 92, of New Waverly, Texas,
passed away, Thursday, November 15, 2007. She was born in
Pine Valley, Texas on January 13, 1915 to Augusta and Elma
Niederhofer.
Survivors include her son, George Ronald Nixon;
grandkids, Tambra Pursley and husband, Craig, George R.
Nixon, Jr. and wife, Leslie; great-grandkids, Amber Pursley,
Craig Pursley, Jr. Joey Pursley, Melissa Pursley, Racheal

William Harlan Law, 69, of Coldspring, Texas,
passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Survivors included
his loving wife, Yvonne Law; sons, Bruce Law, Brian Law,
Matthew Law, Russell Wilburn and fiancée, Jacalyn;
daughter, Lindsay Proctor and husband, Zachary; grandchildren,
Angela, Falyn, Hunter, Justin, Emily, and Reagan. Visitation

Texas on April 8, 1942.

James “Doug” Williams, 61, proud
veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away Veteran’s
Day, Sunday, November 11, 2007.
He is preceded in death by his father, James
Williams, mother, Gladys Williams, and sister, Margaret
Ann Buchanan. Survivors include his loving wife, Lynda Williams;
children, Andy Williams of Magnolia, Dennis Williams and
wife, Kellie of Tomball, Caroline Williams, Hayley Williams
of Magnolia, James Bible of Cleveland, Michelle Bible of
Cleveland, Melissa Bible of Spring; and six grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister, Yvonne Bowman and husband,
Tom of Colorado.

Ida Pearl Huffman, age 91, of Porter, Texas,

Latexo, Texas on October 2, 1916 to Robert and Minnie Stapp.

Dell E. Huffman.
