Ana Davis

Ana B. Davis

was born to Isabello and Blanca Baleros in New York City on June 3, 1933. Seeing her father serve in World War II, Ana enlisted in the Navy and served in the Korean War until 1954. Ana studied child psychology at Columbia and Fordham Universities in New York while she worked at Lutheran Community and Social Services. Ana later retired from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Eye Institute and Research. Ana’s internment will be at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, New York.

Ana is survived by her son James Davis, and his wife Gena, daughters Elizabeth Harden, and her husband Wayne and Denise Garcia. Eight (8) Grandchildren; James Davis, Jessica Johnson, Michael Davis, and his wife Sandra, Lisa Armstrong, and her husband Shanon, Robert Harden, and his wife Kimberly, Jonathan Harden, and his wife Malessa, Andrew Garcia and Joshua Garcia and Twenty-two (22) Great-Grandchildren Hannah, Haleigh, Conner, Wesley, Selah, Bennie, Nahum, Mary, Grace, Amelia, Nehemiah, Coby, Cody, Mason, Gillian, Jade, Dravin, Alora, Xeric, Jayden, Lillian and Gabriella.

Ana is also survived by her sisters: Alice Ruiz and Virginia Velez of New York and by nieces and nephews Sandra and Marcelino Pagan, Steven and Renee Bennett, Julia Green, Christine Quasim, Jacqueline Bennett, Lisa and Charlie Boger, Yvette and Michael Hober, Anthony and Rose Ruiz, Alexis and Michael Page, Gino Velez and Mathew and Sandra Velez and numerous great nephews and nieces. Closest friends Frances Harden, Margaret Miller, RoseAnn Miller, Kay Martin and Bonnie Barski.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. A rosary will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
