Billie Jean Barber McNeely, 70, of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 in Dayton. She was born March 5, 1949 in Pasadena, Texas to her late parents, Martin Harwood “Pat” Barber and Ruby Melinda Atkinson Barber.

Billie was a longtime resident of Dayton, was ordained with the Independent Assemblies and pastor of The Church of the Living God, a volunteer at Magnolia Place and Liberty Healthcare in Liberty, worked for 20 years at Beaumont State Center and Tri-County MHMR as a special needs instructor and pre-school teacher. Teaching cake decorating, singing and playing the piano were some of her greatest joys.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billie Robert McNeely; siblings, Jay, Glenn and Whimpy Barber and Gail Holifield.

Survivors include daughters, Rhonda Rochele Faircloth and Robin Melinda Bradt; grandchildren, Brittany Rochele Cone, Dylan Shane Faircloth, Ethan Andrew Bradt, Greyson Robert Bradt, Cooper James Bradt; great-grandchild, Audrey Brooke Cone; sister-in-law, Shirley Barber of Camdenton MO and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Dayton.

Pallbearers will be Brent Cone, Dylan Faircloth, Ethan Bradt, Greyson Bradt, William Halpain, Cooper Bradt, Gage Dryden and Bro. Gonzalez. Honorary pallbearers will be Whimpy Barber, Jimmy Holifield and Lane Keck.
