Iris Marylou Eure

Iris MaryLou Eure, age 86 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017. She was born in Pelly, Texas to Ennis Adam Roy and Iva Irene Bonnitti Roy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Bill Eure; sister, Shirley Seely; 5 angel babies; god-daughter, Pat Lazenby

Iris is survived by daughter Sherry McKey and husband Wayne; brother, James Roy and wife Linda; grandchildren, Heath McKey and wife Courtney, Heather Luper and husband T.J.; great-grandchildren, Baylee McKey, Waylon McKey, and Wyatt Luper; self-proclaimed grandchildren, Letsinger Boys, Madison, Paisleigh, Gunnar and Tori Huckabay, and Angel Smart; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; step-daughters, Maggie Orr and husband Richard, and Carol Stewart and husband Stew; loving friend and caregivers, Ashley Huckabay, Courtney McKey, Ann McKey and Mary. A big thank you to Mary for loving and caring for Iris during her final days, and to Texas Elite Hospice, Nicole, Kem, and Alisha were so wonderful getting her admitted and caring for her!

In lieu of flowers please make a monetary donation in the Iris Eure Love Fund. This fund will benefit families going through rough times in their lives impacted by cancer, CHD and NICU stays. Iris was a cancer survivor and never ever lost hope! Iris’ first great-grandchild, Baylee, was born with a CHD (congenital heart defect) and her third great-grandchild, Wyatt James Luper, was born at 28 weeks gestation in August 23, 2017, and currently still in the NICU. With the funds raised we will bless those families who also are going through rough times. Iris “Grandma” was passionate about taking care of people, and so with your help we will continue her legacy.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
