Maudell Oliphant

Maudell Oliphant was born on the 23 of November 1923 in Sicily Island, Louisiana, and went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on October 16, 2017 at 93 years of age.   

Graveside service for Mrs. Oliphant will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

Mrs. Oliphant was one of five children of John Carl (Carl) Passman and Nina Passman Bingham.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Milton Oliphant, brother, Dr. Charles Passman, and sister, Monez Passman Fonteno.  Maudell leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Danny Charles Oliphant (Cynthia), Harold Stephen (Steve) Oliphant (Debby), brother-in-law, William Robert (Robert) Oliphant (Bonnie), grandsons, David Brian (Brian) Jackson (Stacey), Aaron Joseph Lington (Victoria), Peter Manuel Lington, (Keelie), Joshua Daniel Oliphant (Ashly) and Danny Carl (Chip) Oliphant (Brooke), granddaughters, Darla Paige (Paige) Oliphant and Stephanie Anne Oliphant Korb.  She also was blessed with 10 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. 

Maudell will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
