Melba Lucille Covey

Melba Lucille Covey, age 82 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born March 31, 1936 in Mansfield, Arkansas to parents William and Letha Nolan Dedmon who she is preceded in death by.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Covey; daughters, Carol LeCroy, Jerry Ann Miller and husband James; Melba has 5 grandchildren that meant everything to her, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; Mr. Covey’s numerous children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
