Stacy Lott Mcclain

August 1, 1962 — June 4, 2019

Stacy Lynn Lott McClain, 56, entered heaven’s gates Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospital in Conroe, Texas. She was surrounded by many of her loved ones.

Stacy entered this world August 1, 1962, in Pasadena, Texas, the daughter of Jerry Nathan Lott and Linda Claudette Lott. Stacy accepted the Lord as her savior in 1970 at the age of 8 years old. She was baptized January 8, 1970 at Second Baptist Church Jacinto City, Texas. Stacy graduated from Furr High School in Houston with the class of 1980. In 1981, she married her high school sweetheart, Jim, where they had two daughters, Kelli and Lauren.

Her daughters and five grandbabies were her world. She always wanted the very best for all of them. She was their biggest supporter, encourager, and fan. As long as her babies were happy, she was happy.

As a natural people person, she was an angel on earth. Every person she would come in contact with, a connection would be made. While she worked as a secretary for Houston Lighting and Power for 25 years, she made so many lifelong friendships and memories. When her and Jim made the decision to move from Houston to Saratoga, the connections never stopped. She started a job as the high school secretary for West Hardin High School. With the small-town atmosphere, she created relationships with many of the faculty and students that she came in contact with.

Stacy's life missions were to bring love wherever she went, shine light wherever it was dark, leave blessings wherever she would go, and to be kind wherever she was. With her kind heart, she had the purest and most sincere love for others. She had compassion and empathy for everyone she loved. With her giving heart, she would naturally put others’ needs before her own.

Stacy loved all things creative. She was a lover of baking, crocheting, decorating, and painting. She was also a lover of all things smell good. With fall being her favorite season, she would create her own candles that were far better than any name brand. Not only was she creative, one of her favorite past times was to watch the Houston Texans play football on Sundays with her daddy. She also loved listening and singing along to music.

Stacy left such an impact on Earth. While it is heartbreaking to lose such a beautiful person, it is peaceful knowing that she is rejoicing with loved ones in Heaven.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Nathan and Madeline Lott; and maternal grandparents, Elroy and Louise Turrentine.

Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Claudette Lott; daughters, Kelli Teter and husband Sam, Lauren Letsinger and husband Cody; brother, Jerry Lott, Jr.; grandchildren, Benjamin Teter, Molly Teter, Thomas Teter, Nicholas Teter and Witten Letsinger; former husband and father of her children, Jim McClain; along with several other relatives and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Magnolia Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with services starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
