Susan (Sue) Marie Duffell

Susan (Sue) Marie Duffell, 65, of Liberty, Texas, was granted her angel wings May 20, 2017, after her short fight with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Sue was born October 6, 1951, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Richard P. and Shirley R. Robinson. After moving to Texas, Sue met and married the love of her life, the late Bob Duffell. Sue enjoyed a successful career in retail management, working for Wal-Mart and Shoe Show for over 25 years. Sue was a kind, generous person, who would do anything for a friend in need. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a proud mother and grandmother.

Sue is survived by her two children, Tina McKeever DuBose, Sandi Myers and her husband David; her sisters, Bobbie Wood, Jeannie Horonetz, and Allie Robinson; her five grandchildren, Colby, Chelsey, Miranda, Madelyn, and Nolan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

In keeping with Sue’s wishes, there will be a private memorial and interment.
