Willie Mae Rutherford

Willie Mae Rutherford, 85, of Littlefield, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Lubbock.

She was born March 1, 1932 in Bula, to George and Vallie Mae Davis.

Willie married Jack Rutherford in 1988. She loved crocheting, crafting, and coloring in her color books. She enjoyed going to garage sales, traveling, and tending to her garden.

She was preceded in death by her last husband, Jack Rutherford; her first husband, Clyde Gilbert, and also Virgil Burris; and a son, Mickey Dale Gilbert.

Willie is survived by her daughters, Sharli Rodgers and husband Tom, of Bowling Green, KY, Linda Burris of Cleveland, TX, and Diane Bookhammer and husband Kevin, of Gulf Shores, Ala.; a son, Ronald Gilbert and wife Sandy, of Post; a brother, Carl Davis and wife Hazel, of Littlefield; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Susan G. Komen https://ww5.komen.org/.
