Bessie Collins

Bessie (Boots) Page Collins, 86, of Honey Island, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016.

Born August 27, 1930 in Cleveland, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Spencer Page and Mittie Cherry Page.

Bess is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Mac Erlon Collins, Jr.; brothers, Allen Page, Lloyd Page, Hollis Page, Virgil Page and Frank Page; and sister, Ruby (Chip) Scott. She is survived by her sons, Mac Erlon Collins, III. and wife Cindy, Phillip Burton Collins; daughter, LaDonna Collins; sisters, Blanch Robinson, Sudie Harvey,
Zelma Kenrick and June Gregory; grandchildren, Clayton Collins, Garrett Collins, Wendy Gale Frye, Michael B. Gale and Kevin R. Garcia; great-grandchildren, Caleb Gale, Blake Frye, Macey Frye, Karlee Frye, Gage Collins, Kynleigh Collins and Tryton Glenn; numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 2, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
