Betty Carter

Betty Carolyn Carter, age 83 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 07, 2013. She was born May 17, 1930 in Liberty, Texas to parents, Charles and Callie O’Kelley. She is preceded in death by her husband D.W. Carter. Survived by her son, David Alan Carter; daughter, Carolyn D’Anne Willis; grandchildren; Sarah Vivian Carter, John Carter Willis, Laura Elizabeth Carter, and David Michael Carter; eleven nieces, fourteen nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends. Visitation will be held Monday, December 09, 2013, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am,Tuesday, December 10,2013, First Baptist Church, Cleveland, TX with interment following at Morgan Cemetery, Splendora, TX. Pallbearers include Milton Carter, Joe Wayne Hughes, Bobby Wood, Barry Pennington, Carter Wills and David Michael Carter.
