Billy Wayne Murphy

Billy Wayne Murphy, 50 of Dayton became an angel on August 11, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Waiting on him with open arms was his heavenly Father, his parents, and his big brother.

Graveside service for Billy will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Billy was born on February 14, 1967 in Odessa, Texas to parents Dora Elder Murphy and Robert B. Murphy. He met and married the love of his life, Sandra Eubanks. They married on November 4, 1998.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. Murphy and Dora Elder; brother, Robert Murphy and son-in-law, Ryan Little. Billy is survived by his wife, Sandra West Murphy of Dayton; daughters, Melissa Eubanks Little, Melanie Eubanks, and Miranda Eubanks all of Dayton; seven grandchildren that called him PeePaw. He will be greatly missed by them, but not forgotten. Billy is also survived by sisters, Sharon Kunkel and husband Ray of Cleburne, Tammy Elder and husband Elmer of California, Frances Clifton and husband Johnny of Livingston, Twila Dun of California and Beulah McDougall and husband James of Conroe; brothers, Jerry Murphy and wife Angie of Kansas, Richard Murphy of Odessa, Mark Murphy and husband Tim Wipke of Anna; sister-in-law, Dale Murphy of Mart; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends which loved him a lot and will miss him.
