Bob Allen Benesh

Bob Allen Benesh, 74, of Lake Charles, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, in Ames.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.

Bob was born February 19, 1942 in McCune, Kansas to parents; Allen and Sue Terry Benesh, has been a long-time resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Ray High School class of 1960 of Corpus Christi, a former employee of PPG, and a retired training supervisor from the Safety Council of Lake Charles. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, tractor work, and playing golf.

Mr. Benesh was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Gina Devers Benesh, and sister: Sondra Benesh. He is survived by his son: Brad Benesh and wife Shawn of Dayton, daughter: Grayce Benesh of Dayton, brothers: Jack and Tripp Benesh of Corpus Christi, grandchildren: Madison Benesh, Hailey Chapman, Josh Chapman, Aerial Ronell, Maryjane Campain, and Ethan McCorquodale, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
