Bruce Neil Rosier

Bruce Neil Rosier, age 60 of Jewett, Texas, passed away on January 19, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer he finally won the fight and went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born September 29, 1955 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Raymond and Ila Rosier who preceded him in death along with his sister, Belinda Cole.He was a youth pastor at Dolen Baptist Church and was employed at Tarkington ISD where he touched and changed many young lives. He was the greatest father and grandfather to not only his blood but many others. His memory will forever be etched in our lives, and his legacy of love of all who were blessed to cross his path will never be forgotten. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Vickie Mae Rosier; son, Randy Royce Rosier and wife Brenda; daughters, Tamara Elizabeth McGrew and husband Dusty, Amita Sarup; sisters, Sheila Aills and husband Carroll, Shirley Collier and husband Henry; grandchildren, Destin McGrew, Faith McGrew, Riley Rosier, and Evangeline Rosier; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Dolen Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016 at Oak Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Phelps Cemetery, Thicket, Texas.
