Candice Marie Telford

Candice Marie Cole-Telford, 59, of Tarkington Prairie died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at home.

Visitation for Candice will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Candice was born September 15, 1957 in Houston, Texas to parents, Jim and Hazel Cook Cole. She grew up in Bacliff and graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1976. Candice had lived in Tarkington for the past 30 years. She enjoyed drawing, camping, and loved animals. She also had a great interest in Indian artifacts.

Candice was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Hazel Cole. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Darrel Telford of Tarkington; son, Jason Telford of Tarkington Praire; sisters, Claudia Moore, Tamara Pruehomme, and Michell Holland; also numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
