Carolyn Christine Rice

Carolyn Christine Rice, age 81 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born August 5, 1936 in Houston, Texas to parents Robert and Viola Krueger who preceded her in death along with her husband, Franklin David Rice; and son, Franklin David Rice, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Robert David Rice, Sr. and wife Darlene, James Allen Rice and wife Rebecca, Tina Tapp and husband James, Cynthia Manthey and husband Carl, Sharon Parkman and husband Jim, Christopher Rice and wife Carrissa; daughter-in-law, Brenda Rice; grandchildren, Robert Rice, Jr., Melissa Rice, Carrie Rice, James Rice, Jr., Megan Copper, James A. Tapp, John G. Tapp, Rebecca Tapp, Austin Manthey, James D. Parkman, Mary Parkman Godina, Joshua Parkman, Julia Rice Broyles, Michael Rice, Gregory Rice, Christopher Rice, Jr. and Tyler Rice; numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Red Rock Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
