Clifford Marshall Hall

July 17, 1930 — August 17, 2011

Clifford Marshall Hall, went on home to be with his Lord on August 17, 2011 at the age of 81.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Hall Johnson and husband, Tommy Johnson, and two grandsons, Alex Johnson and Tony Johnson, who live in Ohio. He is also survived by two sisters, Elva Willis and Wanda McNeil and husband, Ralph McNeil and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Ella Mae Hall and his sister, Elloise Hall.
He was a devoted son and loved his daughter with all his heart. He had the joy of watching numerous nieces and nephews grow up and was often seen at their sporting events on Tarkington Prairie.
During his 81 years he lived in Highlands, Sweeny, Houston, Dallas, Tarkington Prairie and Dayton. He was a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Old Ocean, Texas. Clifford played on the last six man football team at Sweeny High School and then went on to serve in the Navy after graduating. He worked briefly for the USPS and then many years for Braniff Airlines before retiring to live once again on Tarkington Prairie.
The funeral will be a graveside service at Ryan Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18th, 2011. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rural Shade Baptist Church, 3304 CR 2274, Cleveland, Texas 77327.
