David Daniel Gillen

David “Heavy Duty” Daniel Gillen Sr., age 65, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at his home. He was born 1947 in Dayton, Texas to parents J.B. Gillen and Lillie Doris Gillen who preceded him in death along with his son Paul Hvamstad; and his daughter Kim Gillen. Survivors include his loving wife Verna “Tuffie” Gillen; step-mother Ruth Gillen; sons David Gillen Jr. and wife Stacey, Robert Hvamstad and wife Mary; sisters Jennell Gillen and Jodie Gillen; grandchildren Josh Gatlin, Christy Mayon, Dalton Gillen, Katylyn Hvamstad, and Cody Hvamstad; other survivors Tim and Lena Smith, Louis and Judy Lamb and Jimmy and Judy Lewis; numerous other cherished relatives and a host of faithful friends throughout the years. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 01, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
