Elton Wayne Johnson

Elton Wayne Johnson, age 78 of Shepherd, Texas passed away Friday, April 16, 2020. He was born January 31, 1942 in Shepherd, Texas to parents Elbert and Mildred Johnson who preceded him in death along with his wife, Mamie Johnson; son, David Latham; and daughters, Dottie Killen and Juanita Smith.

Survivors include his sons, Woody Johnson and wife Leona, Ched Johnson and wife Ruth; daughters, Lynn Carrell and Jimmie Lummus; brother, Corbert Johnson; sister, Audrey Gardner; along with seventeen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Farley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Johnson (Felicia), Michael Johnson (Erica), Roy Johnson (Lauren), Nathan Lummus, Morgan Eason (Stormy), and Michael Fenton (Kristy).
