Eunice Ada Swearingen

Eunice Ada Swearingen, age 87 of Votaw, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017. She was born in Votaw, Texas to parents Joseph and Nelly Dettling who preceded her in death along with her husband, Shirley B. Swearingen; daughter, Noie Hinson; son, Tim Swearingen; and brothers, Glendon Dettling and Garland Dettling.

She is survived by her son, Bubbie Swearingen; daughter, Dianne Williams and husband B.J. Jones; grandchildren, Rusty Williams, Carla Hinson and Julie Tatum; great-grandchildren, Sean Rodgers, Jackson Rodgers and Haley Tatum; nephews, Junior Dettling, Greg Dettling, Pat Tobias, James Swearingen, Bobby Swearingen, Junior Swearingen, Mike Swearingen and Donny Cullem; nieces, Virginia Morgan, Glenda Morgan, Pam Carraway, Shirley Ann Hataway, Clyde Dean Jatzlow, Patricia Gugiro, Mary Ann Cullem and Donna Kay Cullem; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery, Livingston, Texas.
