Eva Sue Williams Robertson, 65, of Dayton, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil; Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at McGinnis Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Eva was born May 2, 1946 in Goose Creek, to parents; James A. and Lutie M. Andrus Williams, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Dayton for the past 33 years. She was a graduate of the Robert E. Lee High School class of 1964, attended Lee College and San Jacinto Community College, a retired bookkeeper for General Electric in Houston with 30 years of employment, and member of the Old River Baptist Church. She also enjoyed wood working, sewing, crocheting, painting, fishing, and camping.
Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her parents and husband of six years: Cecil A. Robertson. She is survived by her daughters: Brandi Bradford and husband Jerome of Crosby and Amanda Williams of Old River, stepsons: Allen Robertson of Cleveland and Kevin Robertson of VA, step-daughter: Kim Jackson of Vidor, brother: James “Jimmy” Williams and wife Gloria of Dallas, grandchildren: Brittany, Tyler, Colton, Kamberlyn, Peygan and Taizya, great-grandchildren: Tigger and Ruger, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
