George Raymond Malone

George Raymond Malone, age 88 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born December 25, 1929 in Willow Springs, Texas to parents Thomas and Oma Malone who preceded him in death along with his wife, Joye Marie Malone; brothers, Harvey Malone and Tommy Malone; and sister, Grace Jordan.

Survivors include his son, Gerald G. Malone and wife Denesse; daughters, Diane Malone, Barbara L. Syphrett and husband Ken; sister, Sue Byrd; grandchildren, Jay Johnson and wife Becca, Glenn Malone and wife Kalli, Matt Malone, Katie Malone, John Malone and wife Kellen, Leah Shafer and fiancé Chris Miller, Angela Riley and husband Brandon, Laura Shafer, Jessica Blanchard, Jefferson Blanchard, Aaron Syphrett, Ashley Westbrook and husband Thomas; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way; numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery, Oakhurst, Texas.
