Glenn Gates

Glenn Edward Gates, age 52 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015. He was born June 15, 1963 in Groves, Texas to parents Mary Helen Gates and Edward Windell Gates. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie Hamilton and Rosa Mae Gates, and Clifton James and Media Marie Boullion. Glenn graduated from Aldine Senior High in 1981. He then graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1984 then worked for Continental Airlines for 24 years. Glenn was an aircraft technician that loved airplanes and cars. He also loved animals and nature. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, his family and his pets. He loved traveling to places of beauty like the National Parks. He also liked watching movies and he especially enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Nancy Lorene Gates; parents, Mary Helen Gates and Edward Windell Gates; brothers, David Wayne Gates, Troy Alan Gates, and Terry James Gates; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
