James Roy Lake

James Roy Lake, age 78 of Coldspring, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was born June 26, 1942 in Livingston, Texas to parents Gladys and Roy Lake who preceded him in death along with his brother, Paul Lake; and grandparents, Jennie and James Carlisle, Elizabeth and William Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Bourque Lake; daughters, LeAnn Jeter and husband Dee, Stephanie Fournier and husband Ronald; son, J.C. Lake and wife Kristy; sister, Linda Lake Winford and husband Donald; nephew, Keith Winford; grandchildren, Cody Lake, Lauren Placker, Ashley Fournier, Stephen Fournier, Allison Fournier, and Taylor Winnett; great-grandchildren, Emmerson Lake, Leo Lake, Clark Placker, and Andrew Fournier; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
