Johnny Ray Hall, Sr.

Johnny Ray Hall, Sr., 60, of Shepherd passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 after a tragic accident. He was born January 22, 1954 in Houston, Texas to parents Edgar Alvin Hall, Sr. and Mary Murl Peoples Hall. Johnny was a longtime resident of C.E. King before moving to the Shepherd area in 2004. He had worked through the sheet metal local union #54. Johnny loved his family and his life was taking care of them. He enjoyed traveling with his children and grandchildren especially on their trips to Disneyworld. Services for Mr. Hall will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland. Interment will follow at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, nephews Westley and John Wayne McCary, and Lil Ronald Hall, mother-in-law Patricia Krock and grandmother Virginia Borland. He is survived by his wife, Debora Lucas Hall of Shepherd; his daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Jason Holston of Tarkington; his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Ray Hall, Jr. and wife Ashley of Tarkington; his grandchildren, Ashley Holston, Matthew Holston, Garrett Holston and Johnny Ray Hall, III; brothers, Edgar Alvin Hall, Jr. and wife Dorothy, Wayne Hall, Bobby Hall and wife Debbie, Jimmy Hall, Ronald Hall, and Ricky Hall; sister, Jeanette McCrary and husband Darl; sister-in-law, Mary Primeaux and husband Robert; also many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
