Joy Elizabeth Ialacci

Joy Elizabeth Niemier Ialacci, 53, of Conroe, Tx, left us and gained her wings on Monday, October 25th, 2021, after a difficult and courageous battle with lung disease.

Joy was predeceased and joins family in Heaven,her Dad, Charles Robert (Bob) Kerns, Grandparents, Ken and Mary Jewett, and Isabelle and Willam Niemier as well as her Great Aunt Betty Eastman.

She is survived by loving family members, mother, Virginia (Jeannie) Kerns of Conroe, Tx, Father Pete Niemier, loving stepmom, Michele, son, Michael Ialacci and family of Killeen, Tx and her siblings, sister, Kim Niemier Friedman and Nephew, Brandon Niemier, Brother, Robert (Robbie) Kerns, Jr., his wife Tina and nieces Kirsten and Kelsey and families, siblings, Tony Prioli, Nicky Prioli, Maria Paris and families. Joy is also survived by her Uncle Lee and Aunt Sandy Jewett, Charles and Sarah Jewett and Aunt Coleen and Auntie Beth. She is also survived by loving cousins; Holly Plata, (husband Ken), Sherry Caropreso (husband Chris), Kenny Mark Jewett (husband Tom Hall), Johnny Jewett (wife Lynda), Mary Kay Campbell (husband Jerry) and Theresa Jewett. She is survived by all her family of second cousins. As well as more friends than you could count, who, to Joy were family, and who will miss her more than words can say.

The sun rose, and the World welcomed Joy on April 13th, 1968, most definitely a day the world became a little brighter.

Joy was a force to be recorded with from the “get-go” with an independent and vibrant personality from the beginning and all through her life .

She was an immensely bright and extremely soft-hearted soul who did her absolute best to always help others throughout her life.

Joy was a warrior to all of us, she was the very definition of “spit-fire” and had a laugh that not only resonated far and wide, but also carried that special piece of Joy to so many.

Joy was passionate about the simple things in her life, she loved and devoted time to her home, gardening, birdwatching, dragonfly’s and caring for her beloved cats; “Little One” and “Baby” and they cared for her and brought her so much happiness, especially in the darkest moments at the end of her life here on earth.

She loved cheering on her Houston Astro’s and celebrating their wins with family and friends.

Our sweet Joy will be forever loved and forever remembered, her loss is truly felt by all who knew her.

No funeral service will take place as Joy requested, but a special gathering at a place dear to Joys heart -The Track Shack- to celebrate her life and spend time sharing precious memories and stories .. November 27th from 2:00-5:00.
