Juanita Evelyn Deen

Juanita Evelyn Deen, 86, of Huffman passed away, Monday, September 20, 2021. Juanita was born September 23, 1934, in Nashville, Arkansas to parents, Perry Clifton Tallant and Mary Martha Bocox Tallant.

Mrs. Deen had lived in Huffman since 1968. She was formerly of Houston and Arkansas. Juanita had worked for Associated General Contractors as a newspaper editor before her retirement. She was a member of the Atascocita Community Church and formerly a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Huffman Lodge. She enjoyed scrapbooking. Most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Nazer L. Deen; her son, Gary Randall Deen; her sister, Anna Jean Tallant; her brother, Perry Wayne Tallant. She is survived by her daughters, Cathie Ann Deen Ropp and Cynthia Kay Deen Redwine and husband Aubrey; her son, Ricky Ray Deen and wife Leslie; grandchildren, Gary and Krista Deen, Travis and Misty Deen; Brent and Rebecca Deen; Mike and Tara Ghiselin, Hayley and Casey Johnson, Dustin and Candy Ropp, Jason and Jennifer Deen, Darren and Heather Odell, Kevin and Natalie Redwine; great-grandchildren, Madisyn Ghiselin, Kylie Ghiselin, Caden Deen, Kinley Deen, Lane Deen, Ashlyn Deen, Landon Deen, Kayla Deen, Kynlee Ropp, Jillian, Jackson, and Jett Deen, Derek, Dylan, and Danni Odell, Jace and Luke Redwine; daughter-in-law, Sandra Ann Deen; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Service for Mrs. Deen will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at service time. Interment will follow at Huffman Cemetery in Huffman, Texas
