Kathryn Ann "Kathy" Worchesik

Kathryn Ann “Kathy” Worchesik, age 65 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was born November 18, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to parents William C. Butler and Virginia T. Cavenaugh Butler. She is preceded in death by her mother, and husband, James Worchesik.

Kathy had a great sense of humor and was a great dancer. She was a strong woman and devoted mother who loved to sew, attend concerts, watch TV, and listen to music. She also enjoyed spending time with Judy. She was an awesome grandma, and the master of guilt trips.

Survivors include her sons, Burt Carney and wife Shellie, and Billy Carney and Lexxi Jackson; daughter Jenny Worchesik and husband Patrick Charleston; sister, Judy Stanlee; grandchildren, Cameron, Jordan, Ava, James Dean, William Eric II, Emily, and Dusty Lee; cousins, Marlin Cavenaugh and wife Kim, and Linda Bagett; Uncle Durwood; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
