Kyle Dwayne Arnold

Kyle Dwayne Arnold, 39, of Dayton passed away March 21, 2019 in Dayton, Texas. He was born December 10, 1979 in Vernon, Texas to parents, Frederick Wayne Arnold and Jo Marie Moody. He was a graduate of Lamar University and attended Texas Bible Institute.

Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Wayne Arnold; his grandparents, W.F. and Janita Oertli Arnold and Alvin L. and Nancy Byars Moody. He is survived by wife, Nikke Michele Arnold of Dayton; his mother, Jo Moody Arnold Methvin; his daughters, Olivia Faye and Sadie Elise; sister, Karie Arnold and boyfriend Jared West; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Tina Votaw and his grandparents-in-law, Gary and Dee Rich; numerous other relatives and friends.

Service for Kyle will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Interment will follow at French Cemetery in Kenefick. Visitation for Kyle will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Kyle loved the Lord and strived to follow him daily. He had faith like no one I had ever met. He truly could hand things to the Lord and trust his will, he taught me that. He raised our girls to know the Lord, to love the Lord, and to celebrate him. Kyle had a Christ like love for everyone.

Kyle wanted nothing more in life than to be a husband and a father. He loved our girls with every part of himself. He beamed with pride and an undeniable fulfillment . He loved taking us camping and fishing, hiking trails and enjoying nature. Kyle’s big laugh was contagious and so genuine. He truly loved life.

Kyle made award winning gumbo that we all loved. We all four loved cooking together and he would patiently teach the girls and let them help never caring about the mess. Barbequing was one of his favorite pass times especially during football season which was truly Texans season around our house. And he made the best homemade pancakes ever. He and the girls would get the griddle out and mix all the homemade batter. Pick toppings and laugh and cook and just enjoy each other.

Kyle had an amazing talent from God for playing the guitar and singing. He loved to play, any song we loved he would find the music and learn the chords and sing to us. We would all sing and dance, sometimes make up our own lyrics, this is something I never want my girls to forget.

Kyle loved sitting by a campfire, looking at the stars, holding hands and imagining our future. He loved the country, simply driving down a road surrounded by trees brought him so much joy. He found contentment and joy all around him. Kyle was the most amazing man and there is a void that will never be filled until we meet him in heaven and have him in our arms again!
