Lawana Franklin

Lawana Luanne Franklin, age 61 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. She was born December 5, 1953 in Los Angeles County, California to parents Carol E. Carley and Norma Jean Holbert-Carley-Ogden who preceded her in death along with her husband, Marlin Franklin. Survivors include her daughters, Laura Grizzle and Jessica Squier and husband Chris; son, Phillip Swiech and wife Kimberly; sister, Rebecca Carley; sister-in-law, Melanie Carley; brothers, Carol Wayne Carley and Steven Lee Carley; grandchildren, Blaine Grizzle, Collin Grizzle, Caroline Swiech, Tyler Squier, Jacob Squier and Lane Squier; great-grandchild, Isabella Grizzle; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
