Marion Boothe

August 8, 1949 — March 1, 2015

Marion Sidney Boothe at the age of 65 left this earth on March 1st 2015 in his home in Houston. His son said it was as if he were sleeping peacefully and no signs of suffering. Sidney had been working contract running cars for several dealerships. He was a very detailed, organized person and believed in being on time. He was a kind and genuine man that waved to everybody that drove by his house and acted as if he had known you for years. He built many lifelong friendships by being your co-worker or your neighbor and would make a friend with whomever crossed his path from his tax guy to the convenient store clerk and anyone else that worked at his favorite spots. He remembered their names and would always walk in and say their name as if he or she was a close friend. He would even hold the line up to make sure they finished their conversation. He was that kind of man that made friends and would do anything to help his family and friends to the best of his ability. He had a passion to keep his yard groomed perfect to honor his father T.A."Tommy" Boothe and master some of Midge Boothe's (Mother) recipes in order to carry on at some traditional family gatherings. He will be best remembered for his love for his son, his smile, his laughter, his neatness, his wittiness, his positive attitude and his ability to make conversation with a stranger and turn that into a friendship. He is survived by his brother, Thomas "Tom" Boothe, his son, Ron Boothe and his granddaughter, Kayla Pippin. He also leaves behind some furry animals he loved dearly, Toby, Sadie, Gracie, Northwood, Christian and his neighbor's dog Riley. His extended family includes anyone that ever worked with him and lived around him. A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Society, SPCA, and the Children’s Hospital. Pace Stancil Funeral Home 303 East Crockett Street Cleveland, Texas 77327
