Martha C. Die

Martha Clark Die, age 98 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born April 7, 1919 in Houston, Texas to parents Thad Smith, Sr. and Katherine Hoyt Smith who preceded her in death along with her husband, Duward C. Die, Sr.; and daughter, Mauniette Die.

Mrs. Die was an educator for 40 years after graduating from Rice University in 1941. She also was caring and giving for all the needy.

Survivors include her son, Cleve Die, Jr. and wife Darlene Die; grandchildren, Justin and wife Semira Die and Sarah Die McElfresh and husband Scott McElfresh; great-grandchildren, Rhys Die, Vivian McElfresh and Reata Die.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Oak Shade Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
