Nelson Elwood Workman Jr.

Nelson Elwood Workman Jr was born in San Diego, California on May 19, 1944 to parents, Nelson Elwood Workman Sr. and Anna Joyce Casteen Workman. He passed away in Shepherd, Texas on September 13, 2022 at the age of 78. Nelson was a 1962 graduate of Brown County High School.  After graduation Nelson served our country in the USMC during the Vietnam War, receiving medals for National Service Defense, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He graduated from Nebraska State University with a Business Management degree and worked as manager for several fast food companies. Nelson was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Elwood Workman Sr. and Anna Joyce Workman. He is survived by his sister, Janice Kay Workman Langford; brothers, John Scott Workman and Steven Lee Workman; nephews, Robert Eric Aden, Joseph Workman and Samuel Workman; nieces, Rebecca Jane McWilliams, Virginia Workman West and Melissa Workman. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
