Roger Bennie Tanner

Roger Bennie Tanner, age 69 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. He was born December 27, 1947 in Liberty, Texas to parents Lockhart and Lexa Fay Smith Tanner who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Peggy Joene Tanner, and brother, Freddie Lynn Tanner.

Survivors include wife of 49 years 10 months, 22 days, Mary Alcorn Tanner; Son, Shannon Bernell Tanner; daughter, Trudy Lynell Tanner; sister, Kaye Joene Tanner, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Lum’s Garden of Memories, Cleveland, Texas.
