Tempie Darline Neal

TEMPIE DARLINE WHITEHEAD NEAL, age 83 OF SPLENDORA, TX went to be with her LORD AND SAVIOR ON TUESDAY November 30, 2021. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Cleveland, Texas.

TEMPIE was born January 25,1938 in Henderson, TX. She was the oldest daughter of Hubert and Lottie Dee Whitehead. Tempie has three siblings Darrell “Buck” Whitehead, Mattie Batton, and William “Bill “Whitehead.

After graduating high school Tempie moved to Houston, Texas. She met and married Reverend Charles Neal. She worked by his side in churches for 60 years. They have 2 daughters Cheryl Neal Ellis and Linda Campbell married to Frank Campbell.

TEMPIE later became an LVN and a schoolteacher graduating from Sam Houston State University. Her life was a testimony reflecting Christian character and family values to all who knew her.

She leaves behind grandchildren Travis Campbell and wife Allison, Brent Campbell and wife Michelle, John Charles Ellis and Luke Neal Campbell.; great-grandchildren, Zack, Dex, Katie, and Carter Campbell; and numerous other relatives and loved ones.

Tempie is dearly missed but she urges all who knew her to accept Jesus as your Savior and we will see her again on that glorious day in Heaven.

Interment: 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, Antioch Cemetery, Jacksonville, Texas
