Wanda Lou Roberts

Wanda Lou Roberts was called home to be with our Lord on Thursday July the 28, 2022 in Ridgeville, South Carolina. She was born March 26, 1943 in Timpson, Texas to Vernon and Nadine Williford Harris. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her four children. She worked for a short time at Thrifty Food Center in Dayton Texas in the produce department and loved helping people and being around vegetables and fruits, as she was raised on a farm growing up.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Victoria Roberts Harris and Patsy Harris Haltom; two sons, Jim Roberts and wife Jami and Charles Roberts and wife Latonia; two daughters, Mary Cade and husband Grady, Jr and Karen Melon and partner Leilani and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Roberts; parents, Vernon and Nadine Williford Harris; brothers, Edwin, Carl, Larry and Willie Harris; sisters, Shirley Sutton and infant Rose Marie.

Visitation will be Saturday August 6, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Day officiating. A graveside service will held Saturday August 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Caledonia Cemetery in Caledonia, Texas with Dr. Ben Richardson officiating.
