Alfred L. Buddy Brown, 76, of Moss Hill, died Sunday, December 27, 2015, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Holly Grove Cemetery in Big Thicket. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Buddy was born August 23, 1939 in Silsbee, to parents; Alfred M. and Helen Irby Brown, a former resident of Schwab City, and has resided in Moss Hill for the past 30 years. He was a crane operator and attended New Rebekah Church. He also enjoyed hunting, playing and listening to music.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Mary Lee, and brother: Oliver Brown. He is survived by his wife of 36 years: Betty Burress Brown of Moss Hill, sons: Jason Brown and wife Kassi of Moss Hill, Terry Whitmire and wife Sonia of Crosby, and A. L. Brown and wife Melinda of Fannett, daughters: Connie Flowers and husband Ricky of Saratoga, Jennifer Kiker and husband Danny of Alabama, and Crystal Brown of Batson, sisters: Joyce, Betty, Debbie, Liz, and Jewel, brothers: Bob, Bill, Kenneth, and Noel, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
