Arron Carl Landrum, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle, passed away on May 21, 2026, in Dayton, Texas, at the age of 58. Arron was born on January 20, 1968, in Dayton, Texas.
Arron was a 1987 graduate of Dayton High School, where he played both baseball and football. He was a proud United States Navy corpsman who served our country during Operation Desert Storm in the Gulf War.
After his service in the United States Navy, Arron transitioned into a fulfilling long-time career as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. He was highly skilled and dedicated more than 30 years to the field of polysomnography, working in the sleep lab at the hospital and helping care for countless patients throughout his career, including a notable position held at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital.
Above all else, Arron was a devoted husband of 9 years to his wife, Anne Marie. He was a loving father to his children, Arron, Noah, Megan, and Brittany, and a proud grandfather to Adley and Alicia.
Arron enjoyed life to the fullest and especially loved scuba diving, pickleball, riding his motorcycle, bicycling 15–20 miles at a time, cruises, flying his drone, jet skiing, and boating. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Adley, who lovingly knew him as “PawPaw.” He enjoyed taking her to the park and riding bicycles with her, and she was truly “PawPaw’s girl.” He was also looking forward to spending time with his newest granddaughter, Alicia, who was almost 2 1/2 months old. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Arron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ellene Williams and James Williams; mother, Mary Ann Landrum; sister, Mary Diane Williams; and brother, Donald Ray Payne.
