Betty Louise Nabors

Betty Louise Jacobs Nabors, 72, of Kenefick, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at a family residence in Huntsville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Betty was born March 21, 1943 in Moultrie, Georgia, a former resident of Mobile, Alabama, and has resided in Kenefick for the past 35 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, as well as decorating. Mrs. Nabors was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Judy and Shirley, and brother: Willie. She is survived by her husband of 57 years: William “Bill” Nabors of Kenefick, daughters: Lynn Satterwhite of Dayton and Teresa Dearman and husband William of Alabama, sons: John Nabors and wife Angela of Huntsville and Ken Nabors and wife Sonia of Huntsville, sister: Freda Morris and husband Berry of Alabama, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
