Billy Dale Scott, Sr., 74, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Conroe, Texas. He was born August 10, 1940 in Tarkington Prairie at the old home place of his parents Artis Scott and Winnie King Scott. He had worked as a mechanic throughout his life.Services for Mr. Scott will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Byron Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.Billy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Billy Dale Scott, Jr. and wife Amanda, Glenn Allen Scott and wife Jennifer; sisters, Mary Bailey, Johnnie D. and husband Sid Matlock, and Edna "Scotty" Cox; brother, Artis Glenn Scott and wife Jean; grandchildren, Lacey, Devin, Josey, Joshua, Justin, Jordan, Cassie, Ashleigh, London, Haven, and Case; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Raegen, Lilly, Paislee, Bryleigh, and Kaiden; also numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
