Bobbie J. Maddox Reneau, 79, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Liberty. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015, at the Zwolle Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Bobbie was born February 19, 1936 in Zwolle, Louisiana, to parents; Jesse W. and Eva P. Sanderson Maddox, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Dayton for the past 24 years. She was a graduate of the Zwolle High School class of 1952, a retired secretary, and member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. She also enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, and entertaining. Mrs. Reneau was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother: Serena Sanderson, and brother: Howard Maddox. She is survived by her husband of 40 years: Edwin W. “Wayne” Reneau of Dayton, daughter: Traci Jo Overmyer of Katy, brothers: Johnny Maddox of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Larry Maddox of Tacoma, Washington, grandson: Jason Bradley Overmyer of Cypress, extended family members: Lindsey, Tommy, and Mikayla Lyon, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
