Brenda Lee Martin, 64, passed away surrounded by family on August 2, 2024, in Dayton, Texas. Born on March 22, 1960, in Houston, Texas, Brenda was the cherished daughter of Clifford William Lee and Wanda Nell Keith, both of whom preceded her in death.
Brenda was known for her radiant smile and infectious laughter. A devoted housewife, she took great pride in maintaining a warm and welcoming home, and she found immense joy in caring for her beloved boyfriend, Dale Jones. Her love for animals, particularly horses, was a defining aspect of her life. She had a heart big enough to take in strays of all kinds, offering kindness and comfort to those in need, whether they were animals or people.
A natural conversationalist, Brenda had the rare gift of making friends wherever she went. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer her support. Her interests were as diverse as her personality—she delighted in crafting, was a fan of Chinese food, and enjoyed the soothing melodies of wind chimes. She also appreciated and enjoyed her time working with plants.
Brenda's family was her pride and joy. She leaves behind her devoted boyfriend, Dale Jones, her loving daughters, Jessica Dixon (and husband Justin) and Kelsey Jones (and husband Roman), and her treasured grandchildren: Kayli Dixon, Khloe Dixon, Karissa Dixon, Abel Jones, Roman Collier Jr., James Collier, and Destiny Collier.
At this time, there are no services scheduled. Brenda is under the care of Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
