Carol Sue Bailey was born in Cleveland, Texas on July 25, 1945 to parents, Albert Hauke and Lucille Anthis Hauke. She passed away in Humble, Texas on September 22, 2026 at the age of 91. Sue had her own beauty shop in Cleveland, Texas before she retired to stay home with her family. She always provided a warm and loving home for her husband and two children. Sue was always involved in her childrens activities and cherished being their mother. Sue and Gene were almost always together, either in town or drives to Goodrich for coffee. Her love will be greatly missed by her husband and children but her memories will last a lifetime with them. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lucille Hauke; brothers, Larry Hauke and Gerald Hauke; sister, Dawn Herndon. Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Gene Bailey; beloved son, Larry Dean Bailey; beloved daughter, Tiffany Whitmire and husband Larry Whitmire. Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 10am in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
