Christopher William Snuggs was born July 13, 1987 in Houston, Texas to parents, Dennis Wayne Snuggs and Kimberly Beth Wapelhorst Snuggs. He passed away in Coldspring, Texas at the age of 38. Christopher was a graduate of Coldspring High School Class of 2004. He worked in the industrial refrigeration business. Christopher loved being in the outdoors, whether in the water, on the river, and especially out in the fields hunting. The three greatest loves in his life were his big truck, for his dog Costa, and for the light of his life, Madison Marie Snuggs, his beloved daughter. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone that knew him and loved him. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carole Wapelhorst and Tempie Snuggs; great-grandmother, Mae Finger; uncle, Timothy Wapelhorst. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Madison Marie Snuggs; parents, Dennis and Jeanette Snuggs, and Kimberly Snuggs-McGowan and David McGowan; brothers, Jason Snuggs, Sean McGowan, Ivan McGowan, Austin McGowan, Patrick and Dana McGowan, Brian McGowan, and Scott and Bobbi Davis; sisters, Lauren Snuggs, Nikki Snuggs and Jason Lott, Terri and Craig McIntyre, and Amanda McGowan Keller and Armando Keller; aunts, Debra Morgan and Sharon Templeton; uncle, Denny Wapelhorst; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 from 5-8 pm at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring, Texas. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home at 11am with Pastor Scott Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Snuggs-McGowan Family Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be, Jason Snuggs, Sean McGowan, Austin McGowan, Ivan McGowan, Scott Hillyard, and Justin Owens.
