Christy Carleen Coburn Rhea

Christy Carleen Coburn Rhea, 44, gained her angel wings on Friday, December 20, 2024, in Conroe, Texas, just shy of her 45th birthday. Born December 31, 1979, in Conroe to William “Billy” and Carleen Coburn, Christy shared a special bond with her identical twin sister, Misty Darleen Coburn Daniels.

Christy was a vibrant spirit who brought love and laughter into the lives of those around her. She had a passion for cooking, listening to music at full volume, and cherishing moments with family—especially spoiling the little ones. Her departure leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Christy is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Neil “Kenny” Rhea; father, William “Billy” Coburn, Sr.; grandbabies Delilah Paislee, Kai Dewayne; siblings, William “Buckey” Coburn, Jr. (wife Karla), Misty Daniels (husband Jason), Kaycee Coburn, Shane Tobin, and Heather Tobin; and “Pops,” Mike Tobin. She also leaves behind a beloved Aunt Terri and Uncles Sparky, Jesse, Montie, Tracy, Johnny, and Stephen; nieces and nephews, William Michael, Alyssa Hope, Gracey Nicole, Shania Renae, and Katie Ann; cousins Lady A., Bubbers, C3, and BooBoo; great-niece and nephews; Raleigh Jasmine, Raiden James, Cooper Lane, and Ryan James; the Hill children, Jacob, Kaylee, Jolynn, and Jordan; and best friend, Danny Owens.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Katelynn Rianna Rhea; mother, Carleen Coburn; mother-in-law, Donna Rhea; and grandparents, Johnny and Barbara Graham, and Charles and Doris Coburn.

Christy will be dearly missed by her family, friends, fur babies Callie and Letty, and countless others whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 5pm in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland with Jamie Metts officiating.
