Obituary

Coleman Lee Jenkel of Cleveland, Texas, passed away on November 14, 2025. He was born in Humble, Texas, to his parents, Wayne Jenkel and Kelly Dodd Jenkel Axton. He was a 2015 graduate of Cleveland ISD. Coleman was a natural athlete, and he enjoyed writing and creating music. He loved being a dad and spending time with his children. 

Coleman is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alton David Alford and Mary Frances Anglin Alford, John Jenkel and Lois Moses, and his uncle, Clinton “Rocky” Dodd.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne Jenkel, Kelly Jenkel Axton, and Ricky Axton; his children, Kynleigh, Coleman, Jr., Cannon, John, and their mother, Sarah Bohannon; sisters, Hannah Jenkel Sanchez and her husband, Tony, Rachel Holstein and her husband, Cody; brothers, Justin Dillard, and his wife, Kristi, Randy Axton and his wife, Sarah; nieces and nephews, Ally, Karson, Ashton, Ariel, Austen, Bradey, Hopper, Toni, Eli, Carson, Riley, Randi Jo, and Tabor; cousin and his best friend, Garret Dodd, numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, 303 E. Crockett Street, Cleveland, Texas 77327, where a chapel service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025, with Reverend Carl Williamson is officiating.
